07/Getting started

How to sign up

About ten minutes end to end. You need to be an Indian resident with a PAN, and the minimum first purchase is ₹500.

The five steps

  1. 011 min

    Create your account

Sign up with your email address and choose a password. One account per person.

    What you need
    • A working email address
    • A password you do not use elsewhere
  2. 021 min

    Confirm your email

We send a confirmation link. Clicking it proves the address is yours and switches on account recovery.

    What you need
    • Access to that inbox
  3. 035 min

    Verify your identity

Indian rules require identity verification before a digital asset purchase can settle. You do this once, and it covers every purchase afterwards.

    What you need
    • PAN number and the name on the card
    • Aadhaar, or an alternative photo ID
    • A selfie for the liveness check
  4. 042 min

    Add how you will pay

Link a UPI ID or an Indian bank account. It has to be in your own name — third-party payments are rejected.

    What you need
    • A UPI ID, or a bank account in your name
  5. 051 min

    Buy Swift

Enter an amount, confirm the quote, and pay. The units are written to the ledger and appear in your balance.

    What you need
    • Minimum ₹500

Sign-ups are not open yet. These are the exact steps you will follow, and the screens are built — the identity verification provider and payment gateway are being connected. Nothing you enter today is stored or charged.

Have these ready

  • Your PAN card
  • Your Aadhaar number, or another photo ID
  • A bank account or UPI ID in your own name
  • A phone with a camera for the selfie check
Keep in mind

Swift will never ask for your password, PIN or an OTP, and will never ask you to send funds to verify an account. No agent or reseller is authorised to sell Swift Coin on our behalf.

After you buy

Your balance
Units appear as available or locked. Available is what you can move; locked is committed to something still settling.
Your transaction history
Every purchase, transfer and reward is a dated ledger entry you can review. Entries are never edited — a correction is a new, reversing entry.
Buying again
Verification is one-off. Later purchases are a single screen: amount, confirm, pay.
Selling
There is no market to sell into yet. Do not buy Swift expecting to exit at a price — none is guaranteed.

5 steps, none of which are open yet — the identity verification provider and payment gateway are being connected. Digital assets can lose value, including their entire value. Read the risk disclosure before you buy.
